The Full Moon With A Little Added ZaZz

With the Gemini Sun AKA ‘Lower Mind’ influencing the Full Moon in Sagittarius AKA “Higher Mind’. We are encouraged to think logically while the Sagi Moon persuades us to understand or work out by instinct.

Sagittarius symbolises the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the “here and now.” 

Gemini is quite comfortable in its immediate environment or neighbourhood, while Sagittarius stimulates us to venture beyond it.

Neglecting either end of the axis could backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do.

Jupiter, ruler of Sagittarius, is a planet of plenty and has generally been associated with good luck, bounty, Optimism and growth - including mental and spiritual growth. Jupiter is associated with a sense of humour, good will and mercy. 

The more negative manifestations of Jupiter include blind optimism, excess, and overindulgence. 

What gives this Full Moon the extra ~razzle dazzle~ is the divine timing of the Sun and Venus aligning with Jupiter. Bringing a sense of good luck and will, along with some inspiration and determination to see things through - All while The Moon falls into perfect harmony with Pluto and Neptune.

These energies will manifest themselves into feelings of warmth, generosity, joyfulness. You will see yourself inclined to see the good in people and situations. We may find ourselves seeking inspiration to follow a dream or vision to pursue. 

We consider our dreams, imagination and compassion as we plan out or pursue our objectives. We may feel supported or encouraged spiritually. 

It’s a one-off aspect but a longer-term influence. Jupiter is expanding our desire for security, comfort, abundance, earthy or sensual experiences, money and material things while in the sign of Taurus. As it harmonises with spiritual Neptune in Pisces, we’re more likely to factor in our spiritual values and need for imagination, romance, and concern or compassion for others into our pursuit.

We’re finding the best in people and our relationships or pleasures today. We approach one another more gently and sensitively than usual and embrace loving, non-possessive feelings. Ideally, this is a time for decompressing, winding down, and tapping into our intuition. We might put our faith into a cause, loved ones, or a pet project.

As Neptune travels through the last degree of Taurus we can feel pivotal feelings and strong impulses. It can certainly be a time of high drama. A creative aspect between Venus and Saturn helps bring us down to earth. We’re inclined to manoeuvre and plan tastefully. We may be showcasing our reliability and loyalty.

As Venus ventures into the sign of Gemini this afternoon, a new chapter in our astrological journey begins, lasting until June 17th. During this cycle, curiosity becomes our guiding star, motivating us on romantic and social levels. We’re drawn to variety and become remarkably sociable, engaged, interested, and communicative. A strong sense of fun permeates our interactions, but we may also maintain some emotional distance. Attractions often begin with words in the weeks ahead, as we bond more readily on a mental level with Venus in Gemini. However, we should be mindful of our fickleness with affections and pleasures, a trait that may surface during this time.

It's going to be an emotional ride! We're talking romance, fertilisation and relationships. It's going to cause some conflict between logic and intuition. New feelings are emotional and its important to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. 

As we become more fully aware of what has been lacking or missing in our lives, particularly related to learning, adventure, spirited living and communicating - which is EXACTLY what this Full Moon is all about.

Now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings–we need to express them.
