Full Moon In Aquarius Ritual
The full moon in Aquarius awakens us personally and collectively to the need for social change. This full moon calls us to authenticity, to be true to ourselves. Today is a good time to work your magic for social change, activism and overcoming oppression. It is also a good time to open the gateway to fresh creative vision. The energy of this full moon is ushering change and process.
Find balance between trying to be everything to everyone & having REAL relationships.It's time to let go and detach from the things that no longer serve you and the people who don't appreciate you for you.
Here is a full moon ritual for you to
forgive, let go, move on & show gratitude for all that we have.
You will need:
~ A candle
~ Pen a paper
~ Wish box ( if you missed
our wishbox ritual find a small box or jar)
~ A quiet place where you
won’t be disturbed
~ A safe place to burn
paper
Start by lighting your candle, take a few minutes to watch the flame. During this time clear your mind and focus on your breathing. Take big inhales through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Feel you're torso rise on you're inhale, feel your stress leave and you're body relax on your exhale. Once your mind is free from thought and you're body relaxed, visualise a pool of pure white light at your feet. This white light is you're protector and source of energy. Nothing bad can happen to you while this light is with you. On a big inhale you suck this light up from your feet and into your legs, on your exhale you breathe out any thoughts that intrude your focus. Repeat this until you have filled your whole body with this divine light. Once you have the light up to your head, visualise the light coming out from the top of your head like a rod, the light is going to climb high, past you're ceiling, past you're loft, into the sky, going past the atmosphere and into the starry universe. Then say:
“I accept myself, I accept changes to take place to bring me to a better place. Creativity flows to me with ease. I am grateful for all that I receive.”
Once you have done this, slowly bring yourself back. You can do this by gently wiggling your toes and gradually open your eyes.
Now take your pen and paper. In as much detail as you can, write down the people and situations that you need to let go of. This can even be about yourself, a situation or thing that you did that you maybe be harbouring guilt for.
Once this is done, close your eyes. Think of the first thing on your list, put the person In the forefront of your mind, surround them in a pink bubble. Look at them and smile. Mean your smile with kindness & say “Thank you. I forgive you” then blow the bubble away. Once they have gone from sight, move onto the next person/situation on the list. This goes for yourself too.
Once you have worked through your list, say out loud:
“I positively forgive everyone & thing that need forgiving, including myself.”
Finish this part of the exercise with writing down the changes you wish to see in your life & who your true self is, for example.
“I am generous, kind & loving”
“I don't allow toxic people in my life”
“I do not seek the approval of others for my own self worth”
Now we move onto our wish box, if you already have one, go through & read all of the seeds we wrote on the last new moon, take the things that have come true and put them to one side. For the ones that haven’t yet, as you're reading them, imagine being IN the situation when it does manifest for you & how that would feel. Place these back into your wish box along with your true self memo and the changes you want to see.
Once this is all done, take your forgiveness list and granted wishes. Take them to a place where it is safe to burn (This could be a saucepan , fire-pit in the garden or a heat proof bowl). Put the list in there and set it alight. As you watch it burning, be grateful for it leaving, feel it release. Be grateful and say thank you for the wishes you have been granted.
