Aries Season / Spring Equinox

Happy astrological new year! Today we should wake to feel a little SPRING in our step as we celebrate the spring equinox and the start of Aries season. 

Not only this the time of equal hours in days and nights but is the time for new beginnings and finding our inner strength. The Equinox is  considered to be a sacred time of balance, unity and working in harmony with Mother Nature. On the Equinox, the veil between  is believed to be thin, making it easier for us to connect with higher realms, our spirit, ancestors and guides. 

This Aries Season  we have zero major planets in retrograde, meaning that the energy of the cosmos is supporting us in moving full steam ahead. This is a time to leap forward, to go for our goals, and to push past any fears that have kept us held back. We’re enthusiastic and spontaneous during this cycle and we can be motivated by the desire to conquer, initiate, or pioneer. It is a time of heightened fertility and blossoming. It is a time where new life sprouts and Mother Nature shifts its energy outward. Aries Season encourages us to welcome the new shifts and changes. It encourages us to work in harmony with the creative energies that are on offer and to use them as fuel to push forward on our goals, projects, and dreams.

We are impulsive and we want to come first and innovate. Aries is a sign that bounces back quickly and is often without pause for regret. We are direct, brave, and relatively uncomplicated in our needs, but we can also be short-sighted or impatient.

Looking at a glance into Aries Season, we have some wonderful energies that are helping us to embrace the qualities of this fire sign and make the most of wherever this new beginning is guiding us. 

• The Sun enters Aries on March 20, which coincides with the spring equinox and start of the astrological new year. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, so we’re about to drift through the 12 signs again.

• Sentimental Venus enters fiery Aries on March 21. The energetic juxtaposition may just bring some romance your way.

• The Venus Star Point occurs on March 26 in Aries. This connection between the Sun and Venus happens every 10 to 12 months in a different sign. When it arrives, the Venus Star Point encourages us to move towards our passions and start a new journey in love or in our careers. It’s the best day in 2021 for romance and financial affairs. Use it wisely!

• The Full Moon in Libra on March 28 urges us to strike a balance in our partnerships and all areas of life. Translation? Close that laptop and take a walk.

• Mercury’s movement into Aries on April 3 will give us the drive we need to go after projects. Make yourself heard.

• On April 9, Saturn in Aquarius links up with the Nodes of Destiny, which aspects the Gemini/Sagittarius lunar axis. This is a day of karmic importance, helping us find long-awaited solutions to our most stubborn problems.

• The New Moon in Aries on April 11 will give us an opportunity to set new intentions for the month ahead.

• Tender Venus moves into Taurus on April 14, adding abundance to our hearts and (hopefully!) wealth to our bank accounts.

• Mercury wanders into Taurus in the morning of April 19, during the last hours of Aries season. Our mindsets are prone to be stubborn and inflexible. During this time, strive to find a middle ground.
