Let it go

'There
is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.'
-
Maya Angelou
Each and every one of us has a story. It’s yours and it’s unique to you.
No matter how sad or traumatic your story is, it should be told. Harbouring bad
memories can only bring bad emotions, if you're thinking
it, you're feeling it; whereas
if you're reminiscing a positive happy memory your thinking
happy, feeling happy.
So how do I let this go?
First you face it. Let it flow, remember everything and let it all flood
back to you crystal clear – what is going to happen? NOTHING. You are in charge
of the situation, those thoughts are yours and you can change them at any time.
Write it down in as much detail as you can. Say what you want to say, what you wished you would have said. You may feel emotional after this but that is the point, let it out. Let it
go. Once you have written down what it is you need letting go of, take your piece of paper to the garden and grab a saucepan. You are now going to burn this! Watch the flames disintegrate the paper and feel the release of this situation leaving you. Allowing you to have a start fresh.
This letting go 'ritual' is really good to do on a full moon, try and make it a good habit for yourself to let go of the frustrations in life.
I know for many people this is easier said than done, that is why we created
this blog; to help and advise you onto the right way of thinking. If you would
