New Moon Exercise

 



You will need:

~A candle 

~Pen and paper

~Wishbox (your wishbox can be as fancy or as basic as you want it, decorate a shoebox, paint a glass jar or use a pretty box you have laying around the house!)


light your candle. Clear your mind, focus on your breathing and become relaxed. You can use your candle flame (by staring at it)  or close your eyes. If your mind starts to wander, go back to concentrating on your deep breaths. 

On your inhale, feel the air flowing into you and into your chest and stomach. Feel your torso rise. 

On your exhale feel your stresses leave as your body relaxes.

Continue doing this until your mind is clear and you are completely relaxed.

 

Next, take your pen and paper and write down the things you want to set in motion. 

You can also add well wishes for other people, and yourself. 


DON'T HOLD YOURSELF BACK! 


It's good to be realistic with your wishes. Maybe there is something nice for the house you have seen and want, finishing that garden project or wishing for your dream job. There is no harm in using your imagination either - throw in a wish for the jackpot win on the lottery, that designer handbag or the dream mansion on a private island! 

Write these on individual pieces of paper. Once written out, read them back and take a minute to imagine how you would feel when the wish has been manifested. Then say Thank you still feeling the pure gratitude of receiving these wishes. Fold those pieces up and date them before putting them into your wish box. 


Lastly, keep your box somewhere where you will see it everyday so that every time you see /walk past it you will be reminded of what you have put out into the universe and remind yourself of how it will feel once you receive it.
